Even at home I wouldn’t want it. Having to listen to about 4-5k of theirs cause it’s cup allocation non stop all game cause they’ll beat us, but I guess it’d be even worse at vile park, be another repeat of that dismal performance in 2008.
Not aimed at you tbf but I don’t get some blues fans wanting to play them. We’re so far behind on the pitch, and we’d get destroyed, it’s not worth it. I’d want to play them when we’re at the same level, and have a chance of beating them.
We gave Fulham a decent enough game in the league Cup at the start of the season that suggests to me we wouldn't get embarrassed even if we lost.
You’re right but didn’t Fulham play a rotated side? Seem to recall they left some of their better players out, or brought them on at the end. Vile would play their strongest team.
I watched it and thought Villa were crap apart from 20 minutes in the second half. Rogers is a good player but was poor tonight, Tielemans made about 5 shocking passes. West Ham would have won if they didn't have the two injuries first half. Ings is way past it these days.

I think it may be reset this year. I can see them winning the FA Cup this year. They’re looking good and even Vile Park seems to be buzzing. Miles ahead of us now. Don’t know why we bother with this ‘number of years since they won’t a trophy’ rubbish. We are nowhere near to them anymore.

Not something I like writing but they are a good team now and have a good set up. Obviously I’d prefer them struggling at the bottom of the championship but people have to realise they are light years ahead of us now.

5 years ago they were two weeks from going into administration ( by the admission of their own CE) , which would have meant immediate relegation from the championship .Then new owners come in pay £58 million for an initial 50% share of the club .That money went in it's entirety to paying off their debts .
They are running out of games that season, but go on a freakish unbeaten run and make, then win the playoffs .
The new owners then admit they have been cheating FFP ( as suspected by the other clubs in the championship) by declaring they over spent in that promotion season alone by over 50 million 🤣The new owners set up a company to buy the ground for 60+ million ,the EFL accept this valuation which wipes out this FFP breach .
The new owners pump 200+ millions into the club in their first season in the PL despite this, but for somebody forgetting to turn on hawkeye they would have been relegated.
Further millions ( now totalling 100's of millions ) have been spent and they've still won sweet FA .
Sounds like a similar shit situation as we found ourselves in .They are not light years ahead of us , they are five years ahead of us with new owners.
They will always be a vile , there fans will always be vile .I hope that they don't win anything for the rest of their existence .I don't care how long you've been going to the Blues talking of the vilers in such glowing terms is a no no .
They had a bit of a mixed side but we were also only 5 games in as a new side with a new manager.
