He’s signed a six-month deal. I wouldn’t think he’s been ‘sold a dream’ on that basis to be honest. It’s an experience for him and you never know how it may turn out is a better way of looking at it.
I'm sure he will see it as you suggest .... ie "Here's a great opportunity for me to show my worth and maybe get a slightly longer contract - or at least do well enough for someone else in England to be interested in me"
