Makes more sense to move the Good Friday game to the Thursday and the Easter Monday game to Sunday. Then play either Stevenage or Blackpool on the Wednesday.
NouCampEl MayorEl Hijo de QuarkioEl MayorTrialistHarris not in the Wales squad, so we'll be playing Stevenage as planned I reckon.
Hanley been called up by Scotland, expect Thor and Sampsted to get called up by Iceland
I think it will be postponed
I think we'll postpone it, but its going to be tight. With the Blackpool game being postponed fir the final, we will have 2 games to rearrange. The only available dates we can realistically use are:
26/03 - This is available, but it might be too soon after the international break.
29/04 or 30/04
If we can use those dates we should be OK. If not then it could mean we need to cram 4 games into a week somewhere.
We’ll probably have a four game week but it’ll be at a point where the only thing on the line will be records
How would a four game week work? Games on Monday/Wednesday/Friday/Sunday?
Sat V Mansfield (h)
Tue v Blackpool/Stevenage (a)
Thurs v Blackpool/Stevenage (a)
Sat v Cambridge (a)
One would presume that the Thursday team (if it pans out like this) would be very changed. I doubt that the Saturday/Tuesday/Saturday team would be any more different than normal.
So if we were to play Stevenage on a Thursday with a very changed team during an extremely congested week of fixtures, why can we not play them on the appointed Saturday with a slightly changed team instead?
Make it make sense please someone
Assuming all are fit we'd be able to field a team like Allsop, TGH, Klarer, Davies, Cochrane, Iwata, Leonard, Anderson, Dowell, Hansson, May (assuming Stanno gets called up). With a bench something like BPF, Bielik, Harris(?), Juke... 3 slots to fill with youngsters. Assume he'd go for like Pendleton, Betteka, Home? Or Myung-Jae Lee might be ready.
Honestly it's not the worst idea in the world. But it does rely on those players being fit because the bench has very little going for it as it is.

This is a sensible take. It makes sense to play it as it is currently scheduled.

Particularly if, as some have suggested, Stevenage may lose 2 or 3 players to international call ups too
I presume it’s because Chris Davies wants promotion and the League Title all sewn up before he voluntarily fields a much weakened team in a match. He probably also feels the non international members of the squad desperately need a well earned rest. If we played next Saturday we would be without Laird, Dykes and TGH on top of the international call ups. They will all be back on the last Thursday of the season.

Looks like Stevenage will only be without 1 player.
Jamie Reid hasn't been called up for NI.
Eli King appears to be too old for Wales U21's now.
No announcement on Dan Phillips for Trinidad and Tobago however you'd expect he will be as he's been in their last 4 match day squads.
King isn’t too old but yes Reid hasn’t got in for NI - replaced by Ronan Hale - remember him? Glad to see he’s done alright since we let him go.

Saturday / Tuesday / Thursday / Saturday (or similar) is what I mean.
👍 Got it. Still lunacy, four games in eight days is absurd

Its partly of our own making
We didn't rearrange the early postponments as early as we could have done or when others did and its caught up with us a bit
