ChrisYou'd have to be a bit weird to stay and watch the opposition lift a trophy.
Clap your own off and get out of there
I stayed with my lad and watched the presentation. It was a life lesson that blues will always find a way to mess things up, but we stay humble in defeat and it means when we lift that title in a couple of weeks, we can saviour it even more.
debullyWhat time did Charcy leave?
Clapped our players when they came round and then left but as I say had no issue with Arsenal fans leaving.
I stayed to applaud our players, not for their performance Sunday but for the season overall and in particular for being crowned champions 24hrs earlier. Each to their own, but I was surprised and disappointed so many fans left before or on the final whistle and didn’t show that ‘togetherness’ we’ve been talking about all season. It was a chance to do something classy and stay in numbers despite our disappointment and we didn’t take it. Anyway, I’m sure the regular supporters will make up for it this Friday.

I get your point - I stayed and it would’ve been nice but pragmatically speaking, it was a long day/weekend, we’ve just served up a poor performance and deservedly lost, most people would’ve just wanted to get away. I don’t blame anyone really, same as I didn’t join in with the bashing of Arsenal fans for doing the same in 2011. It is what it is, it was a disappointing day. Will be made up for in the next 2 home games as you say
yeah I wanted to get out of there sharpish and save an hour+ getting back to and on the tube at Wembley Park, left when it all kicked off on the pitch with the players
think we were home before some of the last coaches had left Wembley
Sunday wasnt about the title, plenty of time to show appreciation for that in the next few games
