I don’t get it, either. In any big football city anywhere in the world, whilst you despise your rivals, you want them to be on an even keel so that when you play them twice a season, there is jeopardy, a build up and genuine fear of losing.

Given our ownership and various other problems, they’ve been starved of on-the-pitch rivalry and have resorted to banal, playground insults. Many of which - the Small Heath moniker for example - we don’t even find insulting.

Just ignore them. I think privately, they’re starting to get a tiny bit worried that we might be on the way back.

I hope anyone going onto their forum deletes all cookies and any online association. I’d imagine it can take a while to cleanse the AI feeds these days.

Had this argument the other day with a villa fan. No sense came of it. One of the arguments put forward was that they've never needed to changed their name whilst we have 3 times. I pointed out they change their badge every other season!.
I honestly don't think they're jealous of us being called Birmingham. In fact I think most of them are happy to distance themselves from the city. The club does little to tie itself in to it, and the fans literally sing about shitting on it (yes I know that's aimed at us)

Sh*t on the city....never quite worked for me. Just plain stupid sounding!

Well there's the "Birmingham are you listening" one too, quite literally referencing the city then sings about shitting on it!

I don't think they are the only ones. Pots and kettles come to mind.

It's been going on a long time as well. Plenty of sniping and petty behaviour from all sides.

Regrettably, ‘this true and we are no angels in this respect.

Whenever I meet a viler in London, I invariably suggest putting football to one side and seeing if we can agree on other things.
