Grew up watching it religiously - haven’t watched it regularly for a few years now.
In my opinion it went too far away from what it was good at - sporting people answering questions about sport.
I find Paddy McGuinness pretty much unwatchable as a presenter too.
Classic case of ‘. If it ain’t broke , don’t fix it ‘

Top Gear and now Question of Sport.
McGuinness really has got the Midas Touch
Me too. But the wheels keep turning and that’s had its day.
To be fair I think I stopped watching when Sue Barker was flirting with Ally McCoist and Frankie Detorri.

Or, "if it ain't woke, go and fix it"
Was great when David Coleman presented it, been rubbish for years
Was great when we only had three or four TV channels..
A long time ago
Completely agree with this. It has gone away from its identity of a sports quiz, hosted by a sports broadcaster with sports guests.
We are though definitely going through a significant transition in viewer habits. Not sure I’m the target market anymore !
The BBC created it then destroyed it!

I think time destroyed it. TV has very different viewership now and things have to evolve. It's a success story not the opposite.

When Sue Barker was axed it had 4 million viewers regularly. When they changed the personnel and format that halved and then one fateful evening it was beaten in the ratings by a C5 programme on posh farm shops!
I think the BBC destroyed it on its own tbh
Not really. Live sport is more attractive to viewers than questions about sport. Unsurprising really
