Where does Rooney enter the chart
For me, he knocks Lee Clark out of the top 3
3. Cotterill
2. Rooney
1. Zola
Purely on results and the imminent danger of relegation.
1. Zola
2. Clark
3. Clotet
Clark's tenure gets better with time and hindsight
He should have done so much more with the squad he inherited in the first season but after that he kept us up on some dross players, should have sacked him after Bolton tbf
1. Cotterill - couldnt stand him, least favourite of the lot
2. Zola - record is indefensible
3. Rooney - only 15 games but couldnt do what was asked
4. Clark - as above
1 Zola
2 Karanka
3= Rooney and Cotterill.
The unlikeability factor gives Karanka and Cotterill a massive boost.
Zola was beyond anything though. Rooney on steroids.
I only disliked Cotterill - he can eff off. The others are just footnotes in the recent history.
1. Cotterill
2. Rooney
3. Karanka
I know Zola's record was horrible but we could still clearly see a style of play he was trying to implement.
He wasn't around very long but I also think Redknapp is getting off lightly as well.
Sunik1. Rooney
2. Zola
3. Wurzel
God I forgot Karanka. Probably him in place of Cotterill.
Played some of the best stuff in decades under Clotet. Wasnt given a Che replacement. Imagine if Toney had been signed.

The two wins under Zola were a horrible 1-0 v a ten man Fulham and a backs to the wall job at W*lv*s.
Any game where we tried to play with his 'style' was a failure.
The performance at Rotherham and v Burton were like yesterday's game at Leeds, but against League One standard sides.

This.
I liked Zola as a bloke and at least he had something on his cv unlike Rooney. Awful for blues though
