Oh no, zero sympathy here but Bennison did look completely out of his depth with the level of violence involved. Neither of those guys seemed like genuine 'hard' men to me. I think they're going to get a rough time inside from the real gangsters.
Guarded sympathy for Curtis Long considering the 3 months on remand he did but we didn't really get to find out his role in it all.

Everyone (scum or not) is entitled to legal representation. It's a fundamental part of any right-minded society.
Making (lots of) money out of protecting bad people makes you a bad person.
Lots of criminal legal work is done under legal aid so many solicitors/barristers that do this work don't actually get paid very well for it
