Now all that crap is out the way lets get down to the important business at hand, the Vertu Trophy!!!
Despite being on a decent run I think we'll just have too much quality for them. I'd like to think that Davies will put out a fairly strong team for this one as we're getting very close to a trip to Wembley.
I'm going 3v1 Blues
May x2, Stansfield

Agree that they are a decent team and like at Wrexham scoring 3 times I think they will try and have a go.
Take nothing for granted, be professional and we should have too much for em. 0-2

Surely being on a decent run is the sign of our quality?

He is talking about Stevenage on a decent run lol
Is there a reason why Port Vale and Wrexham are a round behind? It seems a bit odd.
Does anyone know when the winners of that tie play Bolton? None of the three teams appear to have a fixture next week, but it is not clear if the tie is then.
If we get through I'd like to draw Bradford away as I have not been to Valley Parade.

I know that, but it is not how it is written.
Also I think we will lose again at some point before the end of the season (Excluding Saturday). As we play twice at Stevenage we are more likely to lose there than any other (away) League One ground.
17 games is one of our best unbeaten runs. We did manage 25 in 1994-95. Lost at Blackburn on 20 September 1994 and then not again until 14 January 1995. - 16, League games, 1 League cup game (though we lost the tie), 4 AWS games and 4 FA Cup games.
I'm hoping we can get to roughly 85 points before the international break, that'll definitely leave us in a great position for the championship
Blues to start a strong 11, lead 2-0 make some changes and win 3-1

Original tie was postponed due to poor weather
If Wrexham win they play Bolton w/c 10th Feb
IF Port Vale win they play Bolton w/c 17th Feb

the original match was postponed due to safety concerns.
According to Wrexham, the Port Vale clash has been pushed back following consultation with the local Safety Advisory Group. Despite passing the inspection, the condition of the pitch was 'deemed doubtful' and more snow was forecast on Tuesday afternoon and evening. The Welsh team state that the fixture was postponed due to 'safety concerns' relating to the areas surrounding the stadium, which 'remain dangerous' for attendees. [www.goal.com][www.bbc.co.uk]
