It's a good barometer for where we are at the moment. For all the comments about away tickets, we're not quite the draw some of us seem to think we are.
A tenner cheaper and it'd be sold out now. The club has priced it to sell out before Saturday evening and it still more than likely will. We are certainly a draw. Maybe the FA cup isn't the draw it was. Who else is charging 37 quid this weekend?
It's been the worst time of the year financially for many tbf, I suspect the gates will rise again in the coming months, especially as we get closer to the promotion line.
24,393 at home to Rotherham on 1st Feb is still 45% up on what it would have been a year ago
It is but it’s always going to be the hardest time isn’t it. Hopefully we can keep the progressing going and build up the fan base
I agree nearly 25k against Rotherham is big especially as they brought 5 people and a whippet
Looks like a lot of season ticket holders haven’t bought their tickets for Saturday which is a suppose
It isn't that surprising. 5% probably don't do cup games. Another 5% perhaps can't make this weekend and another 5% were more than likely waiting to have a look at the seat map this week when they went on general sale.
If 85% of ST holders have taken up their seats that's incredibly good I reckon. It'll only be 90-95% for a league game they've already paid for.
Maybe you're right though and we've hit a ceiling so they won't put prices up too much further next season or if we progress to play Arsenal (imagine that!) in the last 16
Don’t know about a ceiling as I think ultimately there’s probably about 100k that would class them as a blues fan
We’ve just got to explore a way of getting them into the ground, and tbf we have largely this season which is great.
I think the pricing is a little high for a 4th round game with so many league games around the same time.
With gates reducing slightly the last couple of home league games, I wonder if they’ll do a deal for midweek games
My Blue HeavenGates seem to be dropping at the moment
We are playing 8 home games in 38 days, for the match by match fan there is ample choice.
Indeed so pricing will have an impact as it’s a big spend, must be about 250 quid to go to all of them
My Blue HeavenWe aren’t exciting to watch and not cheap to watch. It’s not surprising really. We are a fickle fan base. Excuses come easily. It is but it’s always going to be the hardest time isn’t it. Hopefully we can keep the progressing going and build up the fan base

Although ironically those who missed Rotherham missed us creating a lot more and playing a lot more attacking football
I wonder if the reason they didn't do half season tickets this year (which seemed to me a no brainer a few weeks ago) is because they're going to relocate Main Stand upper season ticket holders next season? Or is it because they're going to price games so high next season they'll have to give 3000 to the away team?
It’ll be neither of those things.
We were selling out regularly at £30-37.50. Why sell another 1000 seats or whatever it would have been at the equivalent of £15-20 a game would have been their thinking.
I was just thinking they'd have been aware there were all these catch-up games to come midweek and they could've just put some of the more difficult to shift or last to go seats on sale. They can't have been thinking we'd sell out the Tuesday night games v Cambridge Stevenage etc... but you're right they'll know we'll sell well for the games in the run in over Easter and the last 2-3 games so they'll be priced like this Newcastle game
BluenoseMoI think the GMU were reserved for GML season ticket holders - maybe they’ve sold out?
Quite the opposite Mo. As a none STH, I fell into Priority 2. The only thing I could see when I logged in, was GMU. So that's all cash sale punters up there.
As I understood it, GML season ticket holders were given the option of where to move to, including the GMU - that was before it went to priority 2 I think - I’m sure Mayor will be able to confirm
