Stansfield is still carrying his knock from Bradford a bit.
I'm sure after the break he'll be back properly fit.
A couple of weeks off and I expect he will start scoring again.

We've had a lot of penalties this season, 11 at least, so He'll likely get more chances from the spot when Dowell is rested.
Stanno has taken 8 and scored 7.

I've always wanted to ask somebody from Peterborough - what's it like living on a big industrial estate?

Haha, so many angry replies. I was asking a genuine question, trying to spark a sensible debate.

Let's look at a proper striker, Ivan Toney. Big Ive always said he looked at penalties as easy goals to help boost his numbers.

Kone is probably the same. In fact I'll be having a chunk on Kone as a cover bet, square things off a bit. He'll never give away penalties and is going much higher than your boy anyway. Give it two or three years he'll be banging them in for a mid-table PL side, while eight-figure Stanno boy will still be hiding on the left for a dull Championship club. "Ooh, I'm too much of a chicken shit to take one against the mighty Stevenage."

That aside please don't think you've achieved anything using Tom Brady's $$$ to buy a pub league. This squad should manage 100pts, 100 goals and provide the top scorer. One out of three is -ev according to Meatloaf.

I must admit I'm quite enjoying posts like these here and on twitter. After 10-12 years of rubbish it's been so long since anybody has been jealous of us. I don't take it for granted, really enjoying all the rattled fan bases. Long may it continue!

Simple answer is Stansfield wants what is best for the club rather than just what is best for him. If he thinks Dowell is more likely to score, he’ll hand the ball to Dowell. He celebrates just as much when someone else scores as he does when he scores. Alfie May does the same…

I think it’s something Davies has clearly drilled into them. I appreciate that doesn’t help with your bet but the big 14 point gap at the top suggests everything is working as intended.

Cheer up bab. You’re 6 points off the drop of this pub league, massive underachievement from you boys

I heard he thought chompy was a belle*d and didn't want him winning anything off his name.
So he stopped taking penalties.

We’re doing what we expected. We told the league what we’d do. Only to be told you can’t buy the league, we were in for a shock, play tippy tappy football, play on winter pitches, would get kicked off the park etc etc.
And btw if we want Kone there’s a fair chance we’ll get him in the summer.

This, I wouldn't mind Kone as cover next season.
