4th please. Want to be at home for the second leg

If we're as ambitious as we say we are, we should be aiming to finish higher than 6th next season
If Bristol City can finish top 6 then so can we. I think we finish above them next season.

Offered a guaranteed top 6 finish now I would take it.

Talking of that game last night what on earth garbage was Don Goodman spouting last night about the pen and sending off. It was an absolute nailed on Pen and Red yet he was trying to convince everyone that a yellow was an option and that the defender Dickie was "Unlucky". Idiot

Striker clean through on goal, hauled down from behind, no covering defender. That is a Pen and Red, end of discussion.
Turn left when you get on a plane.

It will be a bit of a boring year if no games for us until the play offs. The last week on here has been bad enough. Who would you like to go on holiday with?

Just going on what Bristol City look like (albeit 10 men for a half)

In the same way that I wasn't accepting a play-off place this season just ended, no.

The fact that teams like Bristol City can be in the play-offs, and Millwall were in the running, should show that we have nothing to fear.

They are obviously all levels of decent in that division, but nothing scary.

It’s all about consistency to get into the top 6

I’m sure we will be ok.

I’m kind of hoping the efl will batter Leicester and I think Ipswich are quite likely to do more of a Luton than bounce back

I think Ipswich and Southampton could be threats. Moreso Ipswich, they are fundamentally sound. Southampton's boom and bust might catch up with them, but I think they'll be ok.

Like you I hope and believe that Leicester will get deservedly battered to the point where they are not in any promotion or play-off contention while they try to come within the rules they've been taking the piss out of for so long.

Ipswich would be my favourites especially if they keep McKenna. Really good players for this league. Will get £30m plus for Delap and have continuity. Southampton will depend on managerial appointments

I think bar Delap who will go for a moderate fee, they aren’t awash with big money player to sell and fund them, they spent in excess of 150 million last summer. I think they’ll need to be careful, im guessing but I think they’ll be under some sort of scrutiny for it
09:50, Fri 9 May
I think Omari Hutchison would go for good money too. Jack Clark and DvB Philogene will be great next season.

And Leif Davis would fetch a decent fee I reckon

They do have a nucleus of a very good team at this level, and a good manager, they're the best placed I fink, Clarke and Philogene are two exceptional wingers at the level

Definitely. Real solid centre backs. Options at right back. Will need to replace Morsy and Luongo but will have cash to spend big on 3 or 4 players. Plus will get a couple of star loan players. The bastards

I honestly didn’t think they were a great side when they got promoted

Time will tell I guess but I think they may struggle
10:27, Fri 9 May
Bloody hell, did they really?

If you can go up, spend £150m and still not get within 10 points of safety what effing chance have we got?
10:32, Fri 9 May
I think Ipswich spent naively. Assembling a squad of very good Championship players with 1 or 2 PL fringe players or youngsters will never be enough to keep you up.

Luton made a better fist of it because they signed players like Ross Barkley and Andros Townsend who had bags of PL experience.
