It pointless speculating imo….
We all know Rowetts and TM/MVs style of play is substantially different. Having MV around would just muddy the waters at this time. If this is to work ( and I’m assuming we all want that despite any misgivings) then the players need total clarity as to what Rowett wants
If Mowbray was part of the selection party to get someone in till end of the season then why if he wasn’t coming back would he be part of that team to get Rowett in ? I really hope Mowbray will get through his illness and returns to full health because that’s what matters deep down , as for us I do think getting a experienced manager in will help because Venus was struggling we could all see that so all we can do is back the team for the rest of the season and hope we stay up then see what the summer brings …kro

What you are saying is, it has been about 6 months, and people already don't really trust the owners and are drawing their own conclusions based on actions.
If you look at the circus so far this season it's clear to see why
If you take the club statement at face value, it sounds pretty straightforward. I thought that Rowett would come in to add extra support to MV, I must admit, but it does make sense if they return as a package next season and that Rowett has his own assistant.

Pretty clear Venus didn't fancy being a manager - he's spent nearly 20 years as Mowbray's assistant. Knows the role he is suited to and likes it.

Pretty clear Venus didn't fancy being a manager - he's spent nearly 20 years as Mowbray's assistant. Knows the role he is suited to and likes it.
He fancied it enough to accept it a few weeks ago. He has been stood down even as a backup assistant under Rowett or said he'd rather not be part of Rowett's set up. Either way, a sign things aren't quite right
I am happy with that. Venus couldn't get a squeak out of the team.
