Gardner and Cook will/should know if there is general incompetence from the management team , or a combination of lost form, injuries and problems with transition to a new style.
If the malaise is already deep rooted then they will move on it. If they think the management team are doing the right things and a change in playing personnel in the summe firs in with their collective vision then you're going to have to suck it up.
Either way, pretty sure they won't let us drift into relegation , and would act if that was the case.
In summary, if we keep our heads above water, I think Rooney stays.
