"Stansfield has already revealed that his decision to reject half the Championship in favour of a move to high-flying Blues was partly down to the club’s location. The Midlands is far closer to his family home in Devon than Sunderland, who were among the teams courting him before Blues swooped."
Exactly
The distance from London to Ipswich is irrelevant it’s the distance to his family that’s important
Ipswich to Devon is a mission
He’s playing in a higher level of football he will be developing. I don’t think he’s suited to playing up top on his own he like to be involved more.
Maybe in time but not get.
He’s a good finisher, lethal is a stretch
I can see him bagging a couple in the next 3 games, IF we continue to play as we have been over the last 2
HackneyBluetbf he's been around the worldPossibly, but he chose us because it wasn’t too far away for him to visit home, ipswich would be a trek

Aye, aye, aye
bluearmyfactiontbf he's been around the world
But did he find his baby? 🤷♂️
Edit -
Worcester BlueAye, aye, aye
For some reason we apparently saw what he did there in the WR area at the same time and before everyone else. Must be the ley lines or something.

It's the Lea & Perrins lines 👊
Stansfield is easily the best striker we have had since Che Adams. Huge blow if we lost him in January. We really could do with another one as well as him because we will get very few goals from Juke, Hogan and Burke.
he's the type of player that I could see moving up the levels, he'll keep bagging at a higher level if he gets the service
There must be a stop gap Premier loan available to keep us going.
FotMob does a spider/pie chart to show each player's contribution over a year per 90 mins. Stansfield is lop sided for chances created and workrate but his chart is significant versus our other strikers who have virtually no pie at all!
