After reading the Rooney Chestbeaters on here after the last 2 matches and their "positives from today's match" threads, should expect 9 points against 3 teams no better than us table wise and 2 of them at home. I also think somewhere between 2-4 points based on what I've seen so far and our injury list.
This is never going to end is it.
If we continue in the same vein as the last 2 games I can see 7 pts at least

If we can keep playing like we did against Leicester, I don’t think 3 wins is it out the question. They’ve shown they can do it so I’d be disappointed with less than 6 points.

I also think if we get that many, after these 3 matches we will be past the bit where we say”it’s all about seeing improvements in performance” to “we need points”
Mainly because on paper this is one of our easier runs of fixtures
Agreed, Rooney was given his first 5 matches as almost free hits as they were seen as difficult. 6 matches later we have 2 wins in 11 which is awful. At least there has been a little improvement in the last 2, so hoping for at least 6 points in the next 3.

The flip side is why would we expect a team that has 8 points from 33 under the new manager to suddenly win multiple games?
Because it's clear to see we're progressing. We've played much better in the last 2 games.
