Finished the last of my xmas booze on the 3rd. So started a bit later than most but I'm going to attempt it this year. About time I tried to do something about my weight and health

I've failed at dry Jan, has anyone else?

Kind of . Had a nasty cold over the weekend so I administered a couple of hot whiskies. Purely medicinal of course 🙄. Back dry again…

I didn’t try.
If the weather was less wet and I could have got out for walks I would have drank less. I’m not religious but will be not drinking during lent.

I only generally have a beer once a month, and plus I'm trying to intermittently fast at the moment so not drinking in January should be a piece of piss.

I failed at failing, it's Jan 8 and I've not had a drink yet cos I've been ill.

Disappointed in myself.

I feel for you. I had this awful virus that’s going around - lasted 5 weeks and still not completely gone.

I’m doing dry Jan - it sure does drag 😭
