Does it not strike you as wrong to have to resort to taking pills so you can keep on hammering the booze? Don't think I could do it myself

Would you not have sex again if you couldn't do it without Viagra?

And you think that's valid comparison? Dear me. Still, your choice and not mine so fair enough.

Right then I'm holding you accountable if they don't work. I'm not going out now till after the Swansea game and I'll have at least 9/10 pints so we'll see how I get on.

Haha I'm very confident they will work πŸ‘

It doesn't mean I can keep hammering the booze, it just means I have no hangover the next day and I've had hangovers from just a few drinks, not big sessions.
Folling the Blues?? I need all the help I can get...another Guinness plese barkeep
Dry January seems to be dragging on for me ...
Jude should be front and centre of everything England do in the attacking third of the pitch.

I have a wet December a damp July and dry every other month. Love waking up without a hangover, able to get on with shit, having a cheery demeanour
It’s noticeable on here as well

I'm in.

Totally forgot about it so thanks for reminding me.

Since we've been making our own wine and cider I have "free" bottles all over the house so to speak. I've definitely been drinking more since October! Finished what cider and wine I had open and my last Xmas whiskey last night.

I'm doing it this year.

I tried it last year, but then we booked a trip to Paris that started on 21 January, so I gave up.

I drink quite a lot throughout the week, and after the first week last year I did notice improved sleep and feeling less bloated, so happy to give it another go this year.

Possibly related: I was more hungover yesterday than I have been in my entire life, and still feel rough today.

That's why I don't do NYE anymore - going out til 1 or 2 and feeling shit for 2 days - just treat it as a normal weekend night now. Don't drink in the week due to now having a more 'normal' job without the mad shifts I used to have - and I definitely feel better for it, without having to cut out the booze totally.

Doing it for the first time this year - knocked back a bottle of Port, Whiskey and Bourbon plus a fair few beers over Xmas.
