Fair Play Mayor.

That must have been some sight when you watched him don a pair of knickers and drive down to Fulham or QPR or wherever it was and them watch him flash them at the chairman.

Did you bring your camera while this was going on at all?

Or were the circumstances very different - such as been approached by other clubs offering more money?

As is what happens to most people that move jobs.

You mean illegal approaches that have to be reported? Funny how he didn't do that when he was agreeing a provisional contract with Fulham (and yes, I know this is true but no, I'm not telling you how, so you won't believe me and the cycle is complete.)

Just to back up what Mr 8 says, I know this is absolutely true too, and no I won’t tell you how I know.

Sometimes the truth is uncomfortable; sometimes we have to accept people we admire are complicated and do stuff that maybe isn’t ethically pure.

Feels weirdly good seeing him in the blues gear again.

Treated like shit by this club, came back when we came to him for help. Fair play.

As well as to massage his massive ego.

Very weird. What’s the issues here
?

Do I have to remind you that it was this club that sacked him? And us fans shouting “Gary Rowett what a tosspot!”.

If I were him I’d of told us too F off bearing in mind it was us who are in dire need of help.

He has a lot to gain here but he also has a lot to lose, he doesn’t need this appointment he would have got a championship job eventually.

Over the past 10 years of utter depression his era was a bright point, get over it and get behind him, ultimately the trajectory in the coming seasons of this club is in his hands.

Are you conveniently forgetting he was flashing his knickers at other clubs whilst at blues? I am behind him but once he's kept us up he can do one

Get over it.
My Blue Heaven
So you trust what people Mayor will say if it’s positive but not negative?

I think it’s dangerous to be so one eyed tbf

Still, he is here now and I back him to get 3/4 wins to keep us up

Starting tomorrow. Think we shithouse a one nil

A classic Rowett 0-0 for me tomorrow BA.

1-0 win on Monday.

We'll roll over at Leicester, beat Cardiff, lose to Coventry, beat Rotherham and be safe after a draw at Huddersfield after hitting 50 points.

Norwich will be a relaxing day in the sun saying thank you to the man that once again saved us from relegation, giving him the goodbye he deserved.

Get over him being sacked for being a tart

He wasn't sacked for this. This was the excuse but not the reason he was sacked.

He was sacked because his football wasn't pretty enough, that's why they brought Zola in.

As simple as that, a convenient excuse based on truth but not the actual reason.

He's a good speaker and that was a very good interview.

Glad to have him back.
You had to spoil it, didn't you? I was almost on board then.
11:13, Thu 28 Mar
One minute he's tarting himself about next he's nearly signing contracts at Fulham.

I would have thought you have had enough time to get your story straight. Sounds like Chinese whispers :)
11:14, Thu 28 Mar
Surely the two are interlinked you daft sod
11:14, Thu 28 Mar
I just find it funny that people pretend to be so upset about it. He had the squad over-achieving, clearly didn't have the support of our horrific owners as well as a portion of the fanbase and had other clubs in a much better situation interested in him. By all means, be naïve as hell and believe that most others managers wouldn't have done exactly what Rowett did but you'll be kidding yourselves.

Racist. Reported.

He’s absolutely fine for the next 8 games and he was very good really whilst he was here previously, results wise.

No issue with him helping out at all.

Don’t want him long term for many reasons, football being the main one
11:18, Thu 28 Mar
Exactly the same here. Delighted he's back for these 8 games as I think he'll keep us up but I don't want him next year because I want to move on from needing managers who specialise in getting shit squads to fight for points.
