Have to be honest, it didn’t soften the blow…. Maybe once I’ve drunk half the bottle of whiskey I converted the winnings into, I’ll feel differently.
One positive is that many of these players will have relegation clauses and will be unwilling to play in League One. Hopefully they are flexible when a new club comes knocking (If they do) We can then clear the decks of these players.
