Super Hans
Fair play. I believe the term is hoisted by his own petard.
Luckily, I blocked the idiot on Twitter years ago.
A dreadful fanny. And also his brother, apparently.

Or not… if he’s a eunuch!
OldhamJust checking Joe - are you insinuating that opinions can't be wrong?
An opinion can be flawed but it can only be wrong if it is not that person's opinion?
By virtue of it being their opinion it is right. It is not a question of the validity of their opinion but it being their opinion.
Isn't there quite a philosophical discussion on this.
The opinion is quite clearly flawed though, no debate about that.
Not sure whether discussion is best with these types of posts, or if it would be better if the internet just ignored him out of existence. I mean literally not one reply.
Hes obviously baiting for attention. Starve it.

Basically women shouldn't talk about football because they don't know what they're on about - that they know as much about football as men do about knitting, which is offending both genders TBF. And that any man who disagrees with him isn't a man at all. I mean it's pathetic, retrograde stuff.
I believe what he's trying to say is, female pundits of a "lower caliber" are being given top spots because there are quotas to fill. Top male pundits are missing out as a result.
A difficult argument to make while Michael Owen is still employed.

If it was your opinion that the world is flat, I’d suggest it would be more than ‘flawed’ and no amount of self accreditation would make it ‘right’.

Except it isn't .... i used to think the same until a couple of years ago when Ron (i think it was) corrected me on here

Hoist in this sense means "to be blown up"
So you would say "Barton was hoist by his own petard" .... not "hoisted"
.... as i say, i got it wrong for over 50 years so not being overly pedantic - just thought you may be interested
It was more likely me ya cheeky bastard
Ron would never have wasted time with such trifling pendantries

Definitely not you - you merely taught me life skills, diplomacy, calmness, equanimity, composure, how to find peace & serenity within myself, and introduced me to some decent bands (and one feckin' awful one).

I know this isn’t what you said but this argument is completely unfounded.
