Why don’t many people like Marsch? Is it his personality?
I know his record at Leeds isn’t great but that was from when they were in the Premier league. His record before that is decent.

another appointment with no experience of the championship....bold

some would say risky
Guardiola would be risky then. And the DvB we had here were.
Almost every appointment is risky though tbf
Tony Fantastico
Rodney Marsh? Risky.

knowledge of the league for the Head coach is irrelevant - as long as he / we have a decent team of analysts who can provide him the data he needs to prepare us, the days of someone getting a job because 'they know the league' has long gone

take your point but I wouldn't see Cooper or Mowbray as risky

Jesse Marsch
Lee Carsley
Steve Cooper*
Tony Mowbray

*unlikely to be persued

Marsch….no thanks
He always seemed a bit of a nutjob

I'd say Mowbray and Cooper are both risky tbf. I'd want either of them though.

Mowbray hasn't always done well but he's done very well in the last two jobs. Cooper has done very well with his last two jobs but who knows.

Every appointment is a risk but those two are the best risks.

His record is OK in pub leagues.

Once he got to the EPL or Bundesliga, he failed.
The cold never bothered me anyway

I'm not totally against marsch but he'd be bottom of the list for me and can you imagine how many times it'd be spelt wrong on here?

Cooper
Ralph H
Mowbray

In that order

Is the right answer/list 👍

Think the Yank would be another difficult one to get people onboard with.

Great, another one who'll be booed in his second game then

This Tony Mowbray chap - is he really any good? I just remember some guy with no teeth in interviews talking about WBA - and that was about 15 years ago. What have I missed?! :-)
17:50, Tue 2 Jan
Mowbray is too old for the project.

Our fans will never take to Marsch.

If Cooper doesn't want the job then everything points to Ralph Hasenhüttl
17:52, Tue 2 Jan
Or an interim appointment with a proven championship manager?

Mowbray is too old for the project.

He's not a long term solution, every club he's been at recently he's done well for half a season then fallen off into mid table. He's solid, but won't get us further. He does however play good football, and will most likely get us to mid table and a better platform/proposition for the next manager after him
17:53, Tue 2 Jan
Hopefully not Marsch! If he can't be doing good in this division with the players and resources that Leeds have got then it's going to be a disaster with us!

Hasenhuttl isn’t even in the betting. I can’t see it, as much as I wouldn’t be adverse
