This thread is basically aimed at a couple of people (me being one).
I had an account and was hounded out and deleted it, then I made a new one and a myth started that I had been banned. No one can ever tell me what for... and believe me I have tried to find out at length. Now I just get told it is for having had more than one account and they "don't owe me an explanation"
I know of others who are just outright banned for expressing a contrary opinion to the brains trust and then get banned.
It is basically a closed shop for the "old schoolers" and those whose views are deemed acceptable.
I originally left due to what really amounted to bullying against me, personal attacks etc and I just said enough is enough. Bullying against those who express an opinion outside that of the accepted view is considered fair game for personal attacks.
I will get fully banned now in T-Minus 12 minutes

Yup, having read through it the other day I decided it wasn't worth the aggravation of posting if people get that worked up, can't be good for their health really and can often see it spilling over into other boards.

I don't know the entire user history of Sishi or Rasputin, but both make good points and both can engage in WUMMERY.
Raspers is centre left and is therefore never at risk of a ban, despite there being no actually difference in their compliance with forum rules or overall politeness / etiquette.
I would be surprised if my comments on this thread (and indeed this thread entirely) and allowed to remain once the thought police see it
