Isn’t it? I find the mods are some of the most tolerant when it comes to political opinions that aren’t their own, IanT being a good example who frequents the forum the most of any of the mods.
People tend to get banned for personal insults from either side (as I know personally). A good example in live action is the meltdown Mariokempes is having at the moment.

In all fairness, I don't think you have ever been on the receiving end of some of the MODS in the same way some of us have on the opposing side of the debates.
And again, that isn't true. I've been banned loads of times by one particular mod.
Don't mess around, you won't get banned. And as others have said, what is acceptable is the prerogative of the owner of the board and those he delegates mod duties to.

That is a completely fair point, and yes, I really really do, but I am not one to get bullied out of things.

I find the victim complex from the right wingers who get banned is quite funny.
The person on this forum who has been banned the most is at least self aware enough to accept when he's overstepped the mark and waited out his multiple bans and hasn't constantly reinvented new usernames to come back on. That person is Rags, and is one of the most left wing posters on here.
And for the record we don't ban people for their political leanings, the primary reason people get bans longer than a few days is a refusal to accept moderator decisions and deliberately undermining the functioning of the site. The rules on this are clearly laid out.

Are they? The current US election thread on that forum has a right wing poster who’s been a member of the forum for over a decade and they’re disagreeing with near enough everyone in the thread.
