If you’re gonna slag him off at least spell his name right. It’s four effing letters.

Cosmic.
SunikWill it be the point of no return like Zola vs Burton?
I'd never known Blues fans chant for a manager to be sacked until that day. Perhaps it needs to be done again.
No. The difference is that many fans, despite being disappointed with results and performances, recognise what Rooney is trying to achieve.
Those that can’t may well call for his head, but they don’t speak for the majority. They’re just the most vocal.
Every manager in the league is trying to achieve a similar thing.
Some are exceeding and others are failing drastically.
No one is saying he isn't trying (well some may be saying he's trying to get us relegated).
Sheep2All we are saying is F*** off Mackay.
From memory Dave probably faced the highest proportion of booers.
Fewer than 6,000 to see us lose to Cambridge. There were a couple of thousand outside the club offices aftee the game.
I'd agree. Mackay had the worst stick of any manager I've seen

Could you see what Mackay was trying to do?
Ha ha, no, he was dreadful. I wonder what his win % was though........

You're not very old are you? It happened loads in the past
33, TF was the first manager I really remember.
Staggering that between 1996 and 2011 (15 years) we had 3 managers, then 2011 to 2023 we've had, and I'll name them for the laughs:
- Hughton
- Clark
- Rowett
- Zola
- Redknapp
- Cotterill
- Monk
- Clotet
- Karanka
- Bowyer
- Eustace
- Rooney
So 12 managers in 12 years. The last 9 of those came since 2016, so in the last 7 years.
I have no doubt Rooney will be gone before this season is out, my hope is that it's not too late. Cooke needs to put his ego aside and do the right thing.
I think there's a genuine target to go for now in Steve Cooper too.

He'll be at Palace soon enough.

Funnily I now think Blues is an attractive job, hardly difficult to do better than Rooney, then a war chest and ambitious owners in the summer.
The key to this is the removal of Rooney and Cooke from their roles.
