There are plenty of people to feel sorry for before Rooney. He will be fine.

Ha ha, we must be a bit soft, Mo - I feel sorry for him as well, and have since he was abused at the end of his first home game. I hate that sort of thing.

Yeah abuse is unwarranted and to come so early was ridiculous. But with regards to the chanting, I suppose it's the only voice that fans have really. As long as it's not insulting, I think it's fair enough?

I really thought he’d walk after today but it doesn’t sound like he’s going to. I can understand the depth of feeling amongst the fans - but I hate people being abused. Feeling sorry for him is probably a female thing
