I do worry how/if it will damage us aerially though. We have not covered ourselves in glory defending set pieces when Long has been out of the team.

Interestingly (according to google) Sanderson, Bielik and Long are all 6’2 yet Long always seems better in the air.

Yeah they’re all a decent size but this doesn’t necessarily translate to being strong in the air.
Sanderson I feel is particularly weak aerially.
Hard to judge Bielik yet but I’d be surprised if he’s as dominant as Long.

David XavisTBF Bielik has played at centre half a lot in the past both in his Arsenal youth days and for Derby.In fact I think (but not sure) that his position on Wiki is listed as centre back or midfield.Bielik at CB is slightly worrying, thought Long was very good last week. If that’s where TM sees him long term then so be it, Wolves did same with Coady and many more examples
