From the little that I know I don't really agree with his stance but I would expect him to do ok for us.

I've noticed the same. We are a very small side. I sat in the paddock v Leicester and they looked like giants compared to us. Buchanan is very small for a defender.We need a couple of big players for the set pieces. Pritchard delivers a great dead ball.
He signed for them in League One and I believe they have the 2nd smallest wage bill in the Championship after Rotherham so I don't expect he's on much at Sunderland.
