Just because my opinion differs from yours, doesn't mean mine is wrong.

One of the biggest problems for the way football is structured is that very few teams/leagues can afford to play behind closed doors.

The Premier League could afford to for the foreseeable future, whether this season, next season, whatever. But below the Premier League its not viable. I'd imagine more than half the Championship clubs pay out more on wages than they turn over, remove mathcday income and theyre going to struggle to survive. Any clubs below the Championship may as well shut up shop if football was to be played behind closed doors.

There needs to be a radical rethink of the way football clubs spend money, and the way money is distributed throughout the league pyramid.

Up to 8 PL clubs against neutral grounds.

So total guesswork then. Up to eight? How many is that? Three? Six? Eight?

Telegraph Sports understands that the bottom six clubs have been joined by two others, both significantly higher up the league, in their opposition to the plans with feelings running high after Brighton announced that a third player had tested positive for coronavirus and will have to go into 14-day isolation.

No doubt the other two higher up the league are Spurs and Arsenal, two clubs who pay wages predicated on being in Europe and stand a good chance of finishing outside European spots this season.

The season won’t be completed as clubs like Brighton, vile & West Ham will say someone has got Covid to make sure the games can’t be played. It’s embarrassing & cowardly, they are scared that they are not good enough to survive.

Yep - can just see vile pulling that one, if they have to.

So eight then! Why write ‘up to eight’ unless they’re guessing.

They are already pulling it. Purslow was shameless on Talksport the other day.

What speech? and fine by me, as long as they award Liverpool the title and relegate those that should be. Basically the ppg system - it's the fairest way to end it.
