O'Shea and Cole staying on for now then.
I assume so - only mentioned the Dingles effer going as well - Spooner to take charge for now.
The remaining coaching staff will be required to continue with their duties to assist Spooner.
Awkward
After reading the first paragraph, I had a horrible feeling it was going to follow with:
'Ashley Cole and John O'Shea will take over as permanent joint-managers with immediate effect'.
Thank feck it didn't!
bit ugly with the coaches still there 'assisting' Spooner
Fat Buddha CBEThe remaining coaching staff will be required to continue with their duties to assist Spooner.
Awkward
Maybe that’s to force their hand?
I suppose they had to until the new manager decides if he wants them or not
Not sure about O'Shea, but maybe Cole could be groomed to become Head Coach under an experienced manager, e.g. Mowbray
We'll see I suppose
ye will be that, hope Spooner puts em through their paces until they are inevitably canned.
Sounds very much like they don't have anyone lined up. Which is good news imo.
A lengthy interview process needed.
Well done Knighthead. The job to turn us around into a proper club who can dream of promotion is a huge one and mistakes will definitely be made. When they happen, own it, learn from it and move on.
They made a colossal eff up bringing Rooney in but they’ve haven’t made another one by allowing this continue so good on em.
