Here's one who i didn't realise had such a massive number of sales
"FINE YOUNG CANNIBALS sold over 4,882,500 albums"
that send them shooting up the Brummie charts based on sales .. almost 3 times as many as OCS

Great band (obviously) but surprisingly low number of album sales at about 250,000 (which i think this thread's being based on in terms of criteria)
Fine Young Cannibals in contrast sold 4.8 million
