It's an outlier. They will want it to compete with the IPL & others and it's not going to do that on its own.
Once we have the council, we will change the city boundaries again

Lovely
The birmingham blinders with flat caps instead of helmets.
number8It'll end up as a 20/20 competition. The new investors want the franchises and will then change the format, and the ECB won't stop them.
Do you reckon? I think they may keep it as a point of difference.
I like this having its own page. Nice touch.
Can’t be right.
Bloose owners will never build a new stadium or invest in the city. Day’re skint. Chancers
I honestly think it'll become a totally different beast. Now they have private franchises, there's no need to worry about all 18 counties.
When it expands to 2 divisions I wonder what Somerset and Derbyshire will go for. They'll be 100 per cent stakes I'd say and it will be T20 by then 2032 or whenever that stage kicks in. Once all 18 have a team even if the Vile lot buy Derby that's when I might go and watch one of these things
It will go to 10 teams max. This is the start of a proper franchise tournament.

You think the counties, who remain the majority owners, will go for that?
Always thought the T20 should have been, get rid of all the tinpot counties, Worcestershire, Northants, Derby, Leicester, Glamorgan etc
The new investors can already change the name and colours. The power has changed hands. Wont be long before the ECB sell up the other 51%, with probably a contingent percentage of future income to go back to them to be distributed.
